One Thing.... from Class January 28, 2014

There is always going to be many new things that you learn in just one class period, but there is also that one piece of new information that will always stick out to certain people when it comes to learning new material. For myself, last class when we talked about commas and read aloud the one sentence that classmates had to create based on another persons own writing of their obituary, I learned a lot about not just information based on course readings and text, but about my fellow classmates. It was really intriguing hearing how others plan to spend their lives in the future, or how they already have spent it, if they were to die young. Many of the people in calss are very motivated and have high hopes and dreams for themselves after college. It is impressive that such young minds are still looking to the future with positivity, and are busy trying to actually accomplish those goals and dreams.
It just really impressed me that when everyone was reading about one another a sentence that they had to come up with about the other person, they were all positive and inspiring. There was no negativity, and I learned that people really can get along and say nice things about each other. Such aspiring people and dreams, and such kindness and genuiness, really does say a lot about our young generation todeay. I really did love hearing about other people and what they have planned for themselves, and it was inspiring to continue on with a goal in mind.
